“Everyone here is just so friendly.”

“I felt like this was a place I could make a difference, a place where I could belong.”

“I was surprised at how quickly these people came to feel like family.”

That’s what some of our most recent members had to say about coming to Trinity UCC in Westville.  We are a small church, in a small town, with a big heart.  Together, we seek opportunities to make a difference for our neighbors, near and far, because of our faith in Jesus Christ.

Founded in 1901 as the First Congregational Church, our first building was near the center of town.  To learn more about our early history, up to 1961 click here.

As church membership across the nation boomed during the 1950s and ‘60s, so, too, did this congregation’s.  In 1961, a new building was completed and we moved to our current location, just north of Zamberletti Park, adopting Trinity United Church of Christ as our name.  The current membership comes mostly from Westville and the surrounding area: this is where we live, and this is where we live out our faith, in joy and gratitude.  This is where we are committed to making a difference in the name of Christ.
